Set on a family vacation in 1973 New England, Lottie captures a haunting chapter in the interior life of a fifteen-year-old girl teetering on the edge of adolescence and unraveling selfhood.
Restless and alienated, Lottie becomes fixated on an older pizza delivery boy whose fleeting attention offers her a dangerous illusion of recognition and control. As her parents, quietly alarmed, attempt to intervene with measured concern, their efforts only deepen her withdrawal.
Meticulously rendered and psychologically precise, the film is a stark meditation on girlhood, projection, and the fragile architecture of identity within the domestic landscape.
