BELLA RIETH is a director, writer, and producer based in New York City. Lottie is her latest short film, a psychological drama set in 1970s New England that explores themes of isolation, obsession, and girlhood. The film is currently on the festival circuit and marks a significant step in Bella’s ongoing investigation of identity and unraveling personas through cinema.

Bella’s earlier work has screened at venues including the TCL Chinese Theatre and has been featured on The Roku Channel’s Daily Shorts. Her films often blend stylized period aesthetics with grounded, intimate character studies. She draws inspiration from literature, photography, and rites of passage, often working with hybrid forms that blur fiction and psychological realism.

As a producer, she has supported over a dozen short films and music videos, managing everything from creative development to festival strategy. She is deeply committed to fostering collaborative, actor-driven sets and often works with emerging talent both in front of and behind the camera.
